Using the service

Your Nookivia account

Some features require an account. Sign-in is handled through supported identity providers using Clerk. There is no separate Nookivia password. You are responsible for keeping access to your chosen identity provider secure and for activity carried out through your account.

Please give us information that is accurate enough for the feature you are using. If something changes, update it when you can. Nookivia may refuse or limit access where it reasonably needs to protect the service, its users or third parties.

Your plans

Your content stays yours.

You keep ownership of the travel information and other content you provide to Nookivia. You give Nookivia the limited permission needed to store, process, display and back up that content so the service can work.

You are responsible for having the right to provide content you add. That includes making sure you are not uploading somebody else's confidential information or personal data without a proper reason or permission.

Nookivia may create technical copies, indexes, derived display data or similar internal representations where necessary to provide the service. Those copies remain subject to the Privacy Policy and our deletion processes.

Sharing

When you share a trip, share it on purpose.

Nookivia may let you share all or part of a trip with other people. When you choose to share, information included in that share can be viewed by the people or systems you make it available to. Do not put payment card details, passwords, identity documents or other secrets into a shared trip.

You are responsible for choosing the right audience for the information you share. Nookivia cannot control what another person does with information they are legitimately able to view.

Third-party providers have their own terms.

Nookivia can link to or display information from airlines, hotels, rail operators, activity providers, booking sites, identity providers and other third parties. Those services are separate from Nookivia and their own terms, privacy policies, prices and cancellation rules apply.

Nookivia does not guarantee that a third-party service will remain available, accept a booking, honour a quoted price, or have the same terms when you arrive at the provider's site or venue.

Where Nookivia uses an affiliate or referral link, we will identify that relationship where appropriate. An affiliate relationship does not change the price or contractual terms imposed by the third-party provider.

A useful warning

Nookivia is a planning tool, not a promise.

We work to present useful and accurate information, but travel data can be incomplete, delayed, changed by a provider or entered incorrectly. You should verify important details — especially times, dates, passenger names, booking references, prices, visa requirements and cancellation rules — with the relevant provider before relying on them.

Nothing in Nookivia replaces professional travel, legal, immigration, medical or financial advice where that advice is needed.

Availability

We'll keep the nook running, but not every second is promised.

We aim to keep Nookivia available and useful, but the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, provider outages, security work or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Features may change as Nookivia develops. We may introduce, remove or modify features where reasonably necessary to operate or improve the service, while respecting rights and obligations that have already arisen under these terms.

The Nookivia bits

Our software and brand

Nookivia, its branding, interface, software and original site content belong to Nookivia or its licensors. These terms give you permission to use the service as intended; they do not transfer ownership of the underlying software or brand to you.

Please do not copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer or redistribute substantial parts of the service except where applicable law gives you a right to do so or we have expressly agreed otherwise.

When you leave

Accounts can be closed.

You can stop using Nookivia at any time. Where account deletion is available, you can request deletion of the account and the data associated with it. Some limited records may need to be retained where the law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties, including where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.

A fair boundary

Responsibility and liability

Nookivia is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by information supplied by a third party, a provider's actions or failures, your own failure to check important travel details, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Keeping the rules current

We may update these terms.

If we make a material change, we will update this page and its version and effective date. Where the law requires notice or fresh agreement, we will provide it in the appropriate way before the change takes effect.

The terms on this page are the current terms for the service. Older versions may be retained so we can keep an accurate record of what applied at the time.

Where disputes belong

England and Wales

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the service.
